As in past years we will again be running a fully escorted tour to Canada and Alaska in conjunction with Scenic Tours. Our tour will depart on the 12th of June 2009 and will be 27 days including the two night San Francisco stopover allowing mostly two night stays in each of the destinations staying in the famed Fairmont Properties, including for the first time this at the Chateau Lake Louise. Our tour is fully escorted from Frankston, Dandenong, and Dromana and includes return transfers from our offices toMelbourne Airport. Free Information Afternoon

In conjunction with Scenic Tours we will be holding a free information and film afternoon on Sunday the 15th of June at the Frankston Arts Centre. Representatives from Scenic Tours as well as our own experienced Canada staff will be on hand the discuss your Canadian holiday experience. Destination USA

For those of you who have never visited the United States or haven’t visited for some time, the USA now represents excellent value for money with the current Australian Dollar exchange rate. America has a vast array of both scenic and cultural experiences suited for all ages. I visited the west coast in December of last year and covered four states in 15 days in a classic American style road trip, covering Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and finally the coastal route, the Big Sur, back to Los Angeles. The trip was a blend of American iconic cities and spectacular scenery. I have had the pleasure of visiting some of the worlds natural and man made wonders, from the mighty Himalaya, Machu Picchu in Peru and the Great Wall of China. In each of those instances the shear magnitude is almost overwhelming. Taking the last couple of steps to the rim of the Grand Canyon has exactly the same effect as the vastness just opens open before your eyes. The full account of our road trip is set out below.
